Oak Flooring

As a company, Cawarden strive to provide quality natural products at competitive prices. While we mainly specialise in reclaimed pine and new oak products, we also offer a wide spectrum of natural colours and styles from Ash, Cherry, Maple, Merbau and Walnut. Our new range of “Multiply” oak flooring, allows customers to use oak in conditions where solid flooring would not remain stable.

We cater for everyone from the DIY enthusiast to specialist tradesmen. From major developments to your living room, we have a product to suit all tastes and budgets, be it home grown or quality inspected timber from overseas.

We insist that all our timber is sourced from properly managed plantations, and we monitor and control all aspects of production from harvesting to the delivery of the finished article.

All Cawarden floors are kiln dried to between 10% and 12% moisture, this being the moisture content of conventionally centrally heated rooms. This greatly reduces the risk of movement and warping. We offer the facility to re-kiln the oak to bring the moisture content down to between 6% and 8% to enable the floors to be used over under-floor heating. To complement our wooden floors we stock stains, glues and finishing products to complete your floor. We work closely with local floor fitters to ensure your finished result it beautiful.
